Caryn Haskins begins her fifth season as an assistant coach at PC.
A 2002 graduate of the University of Connecticut, Haskins pitched four years for the Huskies (1999-02). In addition, she played for UConn's eighth NCAA Tournament participating team and the 2001 Big East championship team.
She ranked second all time in appearances and had the most appearances of any freshman pitcher in UConn history. As a freshman, Haskins led the Big East in saves with four. A three time Big East Academic All-Star, she also was a NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete in 2002. Haskins graduated in 2002 with a 3.8 GPA and a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders.
Following graduation, she worked for the Senior Women's Athletic Administrator at UConn and then was the pitching coach at Tufts University during the 2003-04 season.
In 2005, she received her master's degree in Education and School Counseling from Cambridge College and is currently a guidance counselor at Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Mass. She is also an instructor at camps and clinics in the area, including Boston College, Babson College, Tufts and Dan Duquette's Sports Academy.
Haskins currently resides in Waltham, Mass.
