The National Fastpitch Coaches Association honored 160 Division I teams.

The Friars defeat the Hoyas 4-1 in game one and fall 7-5 in game two.
The Friars will play their first game of the Hoya's three-game series at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
The Friars improve to a 9-1 record against non-conference teams outside of tournament play this season.

In 15 BIG EAST games, she recorded five wins, including one shutout ... 2010: Made 28 appearances and started 16 games as a pitcher ... Had 71 strikeouts in 126.2 innings pitched ... Finished with eight wins and a 3.04 earned run average.
COOPER CITY HS: Earned letters in softball, soccer and volleyball at Cooper City ... Was team captain of the softball team (2007-09) ... Recorded 121 strikeouts, hit five home runs and had 17 RBI in 2009 ... Named Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel First Team All-County, Miami Herald Pitcher and Player of the Year and earned the Navy Seal Award for Courage ... Helped her team win District, Regional and State championships in 2009.
