PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College women's soccer freshman, Catherine Zimmerman(Madison, N.J.) is ranked No. 36 out of the top-100 women's soccer freshmen in the nation in the midseason poll generated by topdrawersoccer.com

Zimmerman has started all 10 games that she has played in thus far. She currently stands as the Friars' leading scorer having tallied 15 points on seven goals and one assist.

Zimmerman's performance in her first season as a Friar has earned her two BIG EAST weekly honors. She was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week on September 4, and again on September 10.

The women's soccer team is back in action Sunday, October 14, at Pittsburgh. The game is slated for 1:00 p.m.
