NEW YORK, N.Y. - Providence College women's soccer sophomore Catherine Zimmerman (Madison, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Oct. 7.
Zimmerman tallied three points last week with an assist in the Friars' 3-2 loss to Creighton and tallied Providence's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to ninth-ranked Georgetown. Zimmerman buried a penalty kick in the 71st minute to bring the Friars within one of the Hoyas.
Zimmerman ranks second on the team in scoring with eight points on three goals and two assists.
Providence returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 when the Friars will face Butler. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be played at the Butler Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.
