The Providence College women's soccer team announced on October 4, 2001 that two games that were postponed because of the September 11 tragedies have been rescheduled.

The Binghamton game, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, September 16 at PC's Glay field, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Providence. In addition, the Yale game, which was originally set for Friday, September 14 at Yale, will now be played on Sunday, October 28 at Yale.

The PC women's soccer team is 4-3-1 this season and 0-2-1 in BIG EAST play. The two makeup dates will give the Friars 10 games remaining this season, including six home contests.
