Holy Cross (1-2, 0-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE): The Crusaders only win of the season was a 1-0 victory against Siena on September 5 in Worcester, Mass. Senior Katherine Brower scored the lone Crusader goal over the Saint's. Three different Crusaders have scored one goal each for Holy Cross in its three games. Freshman goalkeeper Jessica Pietrowics leads the team making nine saves, and posting a 2.43 goals against average.

Providence College (1-3, 0-0 BIG EAST): Providence College women's soccer team hosts the Holy Cross Crusaders in non-conference action on Sunday, September 12 at Glay Field in Providence, R.I. The Friars will compete in their second home-game of the season and hold a 1-3 overall record. The Friars are led offensively by senior BriAnne Bruni (Bristol, Conn.), and freshman Ashley Amaral (Cumberland, R.I.), each with one goal apiece on the season. Freshman goalkeeper Laura Elfers (Deer Park, N.Y.) is tied for first in the BIG EAST with 22 total saves, 5.50 saves per game.

Providence College is 13-4 all-time versus Holy Cross, with its last defeat against the Crusaders dating back to October 19, 1999. The Friars fell to the Saints, 1-0, on that day.
