Providence Women's Soccer Ranked Ninth in NSCAA Northeast Regional Poll

The Providence College women's soccer team is ninth in the weekly National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas regional rankings.

The Friars posted impressive wins over Marist (3-1) and the University of Rhode Island (3-0) last weekend and will look to remain undefeated as they host Quinnipiac on Friday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. Quinnipiac is ranked 10th in the Northeast Region.

PC is led by freshmen Maura Robertson (Wellesley, Mass.) and Kate Kearney (Glastonbury, Conn.) who are tied for seventh in the BIG EAST in scoring with four points, while freshman BriAnne Bruni (Bristol, Conn.) is 14th in the BIG EAST with three points. Sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Haines (Stillwater, Minn.) is ranked fourth in the conference with a 0.50 goals against average.
