Northeastern (2-0, 0-0 AMERICA EAST): The Northeastern women's soccer team takes on Providence College on Wednesday, September 1 in Providence, R.I. at 4 p.m. The Huskies' begin the season with a 2-0 overall record. In their most recent action, Freshman Diana Mastromauro scored the game winning goal in an overtime victory over Florida Atlantic on Sunday, August 31 at the FAU Arena in Boca Raton, Fla.

Providence College (1-1, 0-0 BIG EAST): The Providence College women's soccer team hosts the Northeastern Huskies in non-conference action on Wednesday, September 1 at Glay Field in Providence, R.I. In their last meeting during the 1999 season, Providence College defeated Northeastern, 1-0, in an overtime contest. The two teams will meet for the fourth time in the 21-year existence of the Friar women's soccer program. The Friars hold a 2-1 all-time record versus the Huskies.

Providence College will enter their home-opener with a 1-1 overall record. The Friars are led offensively by senior BriAnne Bruni (Bristol, Conn.) who scored the game-winning goal (1-0) for the Friars in their season-opener versus Marist College on Friday, August 27 in Orono, Maine. Bruni moved into 16th place all-time on PC's career scoring list with twenty-seven career points. Senior Maura Robertson, (Wellesley, Mass.) leads all active Friars with forty-five points, sixth place all-time scoring leader.
