Incoming Women's Soccer Player Jenna Roncarati Named To WPSL All-East Second Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Incoming Providence College women's soccer player Jenna Roncarati was named to the 2009 All- East second team in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The WPSL is one the world's leading amateur leagues, focused on developing women soccer players and promoting the stature of female athletes as role models for the youth.

The leagues is comprised of 50-plus teams and five conferences. Roncarati, who played for Bay State Select earned a spot on the second team for the east conference. Roncarati will be competing in her first collegiate season with the Friars in 2009.

She is a native of Cumberland, R.I. and attended Bishop Feehan High School.
