PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- It was announced today that Tracy Kerr resigned as the head coach of the women's soccer team at Providence College. Kerr, who recently gave birth to her third child, has decided to leave Providence College in order to spend more time with her family.

Kerr coached the Friars for six seasons and posted a 40-60-9 record, including a 6-29-3 mark in BIG EAST action. This past season the Friars registered a 5-13 record and finished tied for 11th in the BIG EAST with a 2-8 record.
