PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College senior soccer player Maura Robertson (Wellesley, Mass.) was named as a Third-Team All-Northeast Region honoree by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Robertson's outstanding senior year also included 2004 All-BIG EAST Third-Team honors, an All-New England Second Team selection, and PC's all-time assists leader with 22.

Robertson was the team's third leading scorer this season with seven points (one goal, five assists). As a four-year starter, Robertson also leaves her mark at Providence as fifth on the all-time scorer's list in points with 52 (15 goals, 22 assists). Robertson's accomplishments as a Friar include BIG EAST All-Rookie team honors (2001), SoccerBuzz.com All-Freshman Northeast Team honors (2001) and she was selected to the USASA National Select Team in 2002.
