BOSTON, Mass. -- Boston University defeated Providence College, 1-0, Wednesday in women's soccer action at Boston, Mass. It marked the Friars first loss of the season.
BU sophomore midfielder Annalisa Rodovsky tallied the only goal of the game in the 37th minute of play to give the Terriers their third win of the season.
Boston University sophomore goalkeeper Beth Weisman recorded two stops, while PC sophomore goalkeeper Shayna Ross made 15 saves in the loss.
Boston University improved its record to 3-1, while Providence dropped to 1-1-1.
The Friars return to action on Tuesday, September 16 when they open their BIG EAST season at Boston College.
