Women's Soccer Defeats Loyola University
CHICAGO, Ill. -- Providence College defeated Loyola University Chicago, 2-0, in women's soccer action Friday, October 31 at Chicago, Ill.
PC's Melissa Crowley scored the game-winning goal at the 44:00 mark. Kelly McCusker netted an insurance goal for the Friars at the 88:00 mark to go-ahead 2-0.
PC goalkeeper Shayna Ross made five stops in the win. Loyola goalkeeper Lori Melching made nine saves in the loss.
Providence College's overall record improved to 5-10-2, while Loyola dropped to 6-11 overall.
The Friars return to action on Sunday, November 2 against Notre Dame at South Bend, Ind. at 3:00 p.m.
