Women's Soccer falls to Georgetown
PROVIDENCE, R.I.-Providence College was defeated by Georgetown University, 2-0, in BIG EAST women's soccer action on Saturday, October 18 at Providence, R.I.
Georgetown's Elena Cabatu scored the game-winning goal at the 45:56 mark. Melissa Coleman netted the Hoyas' second goal at the 65:32 mark to go-ahead 2-0.
Georgetown goalkeeper Natalie Giugno made one save in the win. PC's Shayna Ross made four stops in the loss.
Georgetown's overall record is now 5-7-0 and 1-7-0 in the BIG EAST, while Providence is 3-8-2 overall and 0-7-1 in the BIG EAST.
The Friars return to action on Tuesday, October 21 against Holy Cross at Worcester, Mass. at 3:00 p.m.
