The Providence College women's soccer team was defeated by Seton Hall, 3-0, on Friday, October 26 in South Orange, N.J.

The Pirates scored all their goals in the second half within a span of 14 minutes as they earned their fifth win of the season. Carli Piagenti, Frauke Dittel and Nattalie Smith all scored for the Pirates.

The Pirates outshot the Friars, 16-8, as Caroline Haines (Stillwater, Minn.) made four saves in net for the Friars. Seton Hall's Buffy Wojciehowski made three stops to earn the shutout.

With the loss, PC dropped to 6-8-2, while Seton Hall improved to 5-8-2.

The Friars are back in action on Sunday, October 28 as they travel to face Yale at 1:00 p.m.
