Milwaukee, Wis.-The Providence College women's soccer team (7-5-3, 2-3-2 BIG EAST) tied Marquette (9-4-2-, 3-2-2), 0-0, on Sunday, October 11. With the tie, the Friars finish its two game road trip, 1-0-1. Providence defeated South Florida, 1-0, on Friday, October 9 in Tampa, Fla.

Providence junior goalkeeper Jill Schott (Windham, N.J.) has played 290 straight minutes without giving up a goal and notched her third straight shutout.

Jill Camburn (Doylestown, Pa.) and Mary Vercollone (Pembroke, Mass.) each managed to get two shots off. Marquette held the advantage in shots, 24-5 and shots on goal, 10-0.

The Friars are back in action on Friday, October 16 when they travel to take on DePaul in Chicago, Ill. at 3:00 p.m.
