WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Sunday, September 23, the Providence College women's soccer team wrapped up its weekend road trip at Georgetown where they were defeated, 1-0. The Friars currently hold a BIG EAST record of 2-2-0 (7-4-1 Overall) while the Hoyas own a 4-0-0 BIG EAST record (10-1-0 Overall)
The Hoya's goal came in the 28th minute when Kaitlin Brenn found the back of the net. Brenn's unassisted strike marked the only goal of the match. The Hoyas would maintain their 1-0 lead for the remainder of regulation.
Providence finished the game with four shots and sophomore goalkeeper Jessica Goudreault (Sherborn, Mass.) tallied 4 saves.
The Friars return home to host Notre Dame on Friday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m. The game will be played on Glay Field
