PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's soccer team earned its third win of the season on Sunday, September 17 by defeating Quinnipiac 1-0 in overtime. With the victory, Providence improves to 3-1-3 while Quinnipiac drops to 4-2-0.

Junior Ashley Amaral (Cumberland, R.I.) tallied the golden goal just two and a half minutes into overtime to lead the Friar's to victory. Amaral now has two goals on the season with both being game-winners. Freshman Jill Camburn (Doylestown, Pa.) assisted the game-winner, feeding Amaral just outside the box.

Providence College will return to action on Friday, September 22 at South Florida. Game time slated for 7:30 p.m.
