    Women's Soccer Opens BIG EAST Play With A 2-0 Win Over St. John's

    Freshman Catherine Zimmerman notched both goals in the Friars' victory.

    2013: Appeared in 12 games for the Friars including one appearance in the starting line-up ... Tallied one point on an assist in the Friars' 4-1 win over UNH (8/30).

    2012: Appeared in 17 games for the Friars including three starts ... Finished with three points on one goal and one assist... Notched her first collegiate point with an assist in the Friars' 2-0 victory over St. John's (9/13).

    HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in soccer at Smithfield High School...Tallied 34 goals and 14 assists her senior year...Recorded 82 goals and 40 assists in her career...Holds single season and career record for goals...Named to First Team All-State (2010-11) and NSCAA High School Girls All-Region Team ... Named MVP 2009 Championship...Member of the National Honor Society.

    CLUB SOCCER: A member of the Scorpions Soccer Club (2005- 2012)... Massachusetts State Champions (2008-11)...Region 1 Champions and were National Soccer Championship Finalists (2010)...Played in the USYA National Champion Series (2009-11).

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Wayne and Anne Marie Maguire...Has a younger brother, Sean...Chemistry Major.
