Colorado Springs, Colo. - USA Hockey announced that women's ice hockey player Amber Yung (Rockville, Va.) has been chosen for the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team. During June 24-July 1 in Lake Placid, N.Y. Yung was one of 34 players to participate in the U.S. Women's Under-22 camp. From that camp only 22 players were selcted for the roster of the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team.

Yung notched two goals and 13 assists for 15 points. In the semifinals of the Hockey East Tournament, Yung registered a career-high three assists to lead PC past the No. 10 ranked Huskies of Connecticut, 5-1.

In addition to Yung making the team, former PC head coach Jackie Barto was named the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team head coach.
