Colorado Springs, Colo. - USA Hockey announced that women's ice hockey player Amber Yung (Rockville, Va.) has been selected to participate in the Under-22 U.S. National camp. The camp is scheduled to take place from June 24-July 1 in Lake Placid, N.Y. Yung was one of 34 players chosen to participate in the camp. From the 34 players, 22 will make the final U-22 Select Team that will play in Lake Placid, N.Y. in August at the Women's National Camp. At the camp, Team USA will face-off in a U-22 series versus rival Canada. Yung is one of nine Hockey East student-athletes chosen to participate in the camp. In her first season of play at Providence College, she appeared in each of the Friars' 36 games. Yung notched two goals and 13 assists for 15 points. In the semifinals of the Hockey East Tournament, Yung registered a career-high three assists to lead PC past the No. 10 ranked Huskies of Connecticut, 5-1.
