The Providence College women's ice hockey team held steady at the No. 8 spot this week in the U.S. College Hockey Online Poll and in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll. The Friars finished their regular season on Friday, February 28 at Niagara with a 3-2 overtime victory. The top four teams in both polls stayed the same this week while five through seven were reshuffled. Harvard, Minnesota-Duluth, Minnesota and Dartmouth hold on to the top four spots. Wisconsin climbed to the No. 5 spot in both polls as Saint Lawrence fell to the No. 6 spot as New Hampshire also fell one spot to No. 7 in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine poll.

Providence's next game will be played on Saturday, March 15 against Connecticut at Northeastern's Matthews Arena at 4:00 p.m. in the inaugural women's HOCKEY EAST tournament.
