Providence College sophomore goaltender Jana Bugden (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) was named Women's HOCKEY EAST Goaltender of the Month on March 2, 2004.

Bugden earned the honor for her strong play between the pipes during the month of February for the Friars. In the six games, Bugden made 160 saves on 174 shots posting a 4-2-0 record with a league leading goals against average (2.32) and save percentage (.920).

Providence College returns to action this weekend as they play a home-and-home series with HOCKEY EAST rival Northeastern on Saturday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Schneider Arena and Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Matthews Arena.
