NIAGARA (10-13-1) - Niagara is in ninth place in ECAC standings with an 8-13-1 league record ... This weekend's games will be the first time the two teams have met ... The Purple Eagles are 7-1-1 in their last nine games, including two wins last weekend against Princeton (3-1, 3-2) ... Niagara is led on offense by freshman forward Brooke Bradburn (Brampton, Ontario). She has recorded 16 goals and 12 assists in 24 games this season. Freshman forward Stephanie Romain (Aylmer, Quebec) has had a productive season for the Purple Eagles, registering 10 goals and 9 assists in 24 games. Freshman goaltender Tania Pinelli (Hamilton, Ontario) has played in all 24 of the team's games this season. She has a 10-13-1 record a 3.59 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.

PROVIDENCE COLLEGE (17-10-2) - Providence enters the weekend in sixth place in ECAC standings with a 13-7-2 mark ... The Friars are ranked seventh in the country, according to the latest poll released on Tuesday ... Last weekend, the Friars posted a 1-2 record in three games in Minnesota. The Friars defeated Minnesota State (4-2), but lost two games to Minnesota (1-0 and 5-1) ... PC is trying to finish as one of the top four teams in the league standings to earn home ice for the ECAC Quarterfinals ... Sophomore Corinne Rosen (Milwaukee, Wis.) leads the team in scoring with 15 goals and 17 assists in 29 games. Sophomore Sara DeCosta (Warwick, R.I.) is the team's top netminder. She has registered a 12-9-2 mark, a 2.27 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.
