Rosen Named ECAC Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College sophomore forward Corinne Rosen of Milwaukee, Wis. was named ECAC Women's Hockey Player of the Week on Monday, January 18.

Rosen received her Player of the Week honor for tallying four goals and two assists last week at the High Peaks Hockey Classic in Lake Placid, N.Y. On Jan. 15, she scored one goal and added two assists in PC's 4-0 win against the University of Toronto. The following night, Rosen tallied her first career hat trick in the Friars' 10-1 win against Minnesota State.

In 17 games this season, Rosen has scored 11 goals and added nine assists. She leads the team in goals (11) and game-winning goals (three) and is tied for the team lead in points (20).

Rosen is the daughter of Michael and Helen Rosen. Prior to attending Providence, she played at the Pomfret School.

Providence (11-4-2) will return to action on Friday, Jan. 22 at the University of New Hampshire at 7:00 p.m.
