PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The women's hockey team opened its regular season on Saturday, October 14 at home against fourth-ranked Saint Lawrence. Beach evened the score at 1-1 three minutes later on a pass from senior Kristin Gigliotti (Sauquoit, N.Y.).

The game remained tied throughout the second period and midway through the third until Domenico fired a one-timer from junior Kerri Wallace (Rocky Mountain House, Alta.) into the back of the net.
