PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College field hockey team opens BIG EAST Tournament action against top-seeded Syracuse on Saturday, November 8 at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. Game time is set for 11:00 a.m. The Friars enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed with a 12-8 record, while Syracuse has compiled an 18-1 overall record. The winner of the semifinal game between Providence and Syracuse will advance to the BIG EAST Championship Game on Sunday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. The second semifinal on Saturday will feature No. 2 seed Louisville vs. No. 3 seed Connecticut at 1:30 p.m. For a complete set of Providence College game notes, please click on the link below:
