Field Hockey Joins The Fight Against Breast Cancer

    Oct. 17, 2013

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College field hockey team will be hosting its annual “Pink Game” on Sunday, October 20 when the team plays the University of Vermont. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at Lennon Family Field in Providence, R.I. The program encourages fans to wear pink to the game to show their support in the fight against breast cancer.

Each year, with the help of the Providence College athletic marketing department, donations are collected at the “Pink Game”, and all proceeds will be given to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

If you are unable to attend the game, but would like to donate, please contact Brian Catinella in the marketing office via email (bcatinel@friars.providence.edu) or by phone (401) 865-1967.

Please join us for the game, while also supporting a great cause!
