PROVIDENCE, RI - Providence College junior field hockey player Erica Hebert (Enfield, CT) was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after leading her team to a 2-0 week.

Hebert scored four of the team's five goals last week and assisted on the fifth. In a 2-1 overtime win at Brown, the forward scored both goals for PC. In the 4-3 overtime stroke off win against Villanova, Hebert scored twice and assisted on the third goal. In the stroke off, Providence took a 2-0 advantage as Hebert was the first Friar to find the back of the net and give PC the immediate advantage.
