Field Hockey Falls To Harvard, 2-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Harvard University defeated Providence College, 2-0, in field hockey action at Providence, R.I., on Wednesday, October 25.

Harvard's Katie Scott (Mendham, N.J.) broke a scoreless tie with 7:07 remaining in the second half to give the Crimson a 1-0 lead. Three minutes later Harvard made it 2-0 as Katie Nagle (Barrington, R.I.) slapped in a rebound, that had deflected off of Providence goalie Heather Tattersall's (Bethlehem, N.H.) pads for the game's final goal.

Harvard freshman goalkeeper Katie Zacarian (Amherst, Mass.) made eight saves in the win. Tattersall registered six stops in the contest.

With the win, Harvard improved to 10-4 overall, while Providence fell to 6-14 overall.
