    Field Hockey Earns Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award

    Adua, Mulkey and Stehly also were named to NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

    As a Junior: Played 17 games for the Friars at center-back and appeared in the starting line-up each time... Recorded one assist on the season for her first collegiate point in a 2-0 victory against Northeastern (9/15)...Led the team with two defensive saves... Earned NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad honors for the first time in her career.

    As a Sophomore: Did not play during the 2009 season because of injury...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

    As a Freshman: Played 13 games for the Friars and appeared in the starting line-up seven times...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

    In High School: Four-year varsity letter winner in field hockey and outdoor track at Salem High School...Two-year captain of the field hockey team...Four-time Scholar-Athlete Award Winner...Named Student of the Month (5/07) by the NH/Methuen, Mass. Rotary Club in recognition of outstanding community service...Student Leadership Conference in 2007...Won NHADA High School Female Athletic and Academic Award as a senior.
