    Field Hockey Earns Critical BIG EAST Win vs. Villanova

    Daniella Bernasconi tallies game winner in overtime to defeat Wildcats, 3-2.

    As a Junior: Played 12 games overall and got the starting nod in goal seven times... Played a total of 611 minutes and recorded a 1.26 goals against average and a 0.788 save percentage... Posted a 3-4 record, including two shut-out victories against Northeastern (9/15) and Columbia (9/19)...Allowed 11 goals and made 41 saves...Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll four times (9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/25).

    As a Sophomore: Played in four games for the Friars and appeared in the starting line-up once...Recorded a season-high five saves against Massachusetts on August 29 and finished the year with a 1-1 record...Registered a 0.857 save percentage and a 0.74 goals against average in 94 minutes of action...Recorded her first-career victory against Rutgers on October 9...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
