    Providence College Athletics Holds Letter-Winner Society Induction

    Athletics Director Robert G. Driscoll honored the student-athletes in the ceremony.

    As a Junior: Played eight games for the Friars as a defender.

    As a Sophomore: Played three games for the Friars as part of the defensive unit.

    As a Freshman: Played 11 games for the Friars at defense and appeared in the starting line-up four times... Made her collegiate debut against New Hampshire on September 4... Cracked the starting line-up for the first time in her career on October 10 at Dartmouth.

    In High School: Attended Oak Knoll School and earned a total of nine varsity letters in field hockey, indoor track and outdoor track... Served as team captain during her senior year... Helped Oak Knoll record 58 shut-out victories during her career as an anchor on defense... Registered four defensive saves and tallied two goals for the offense... Second-Team All-State selection in 2010... Also named First-Team All-County, All-Conference and All-North Jersey as a senior... Earned Third-Team All-County honors in 2009... Led Oak Knoll to the 2010 State Championship and Tournament of Champions title... Team was ranked No. 2 in the nation and was recognized by the Star Ledger as 2010 Team of the Year... Also led her team to three County championships, four Conference titles and two State titles overall during her career.

    Personal: Born October 23, 1992...Daughter of Carl and Christine Beck...Has one brother, Michael and one sister, Corey... Economics major with a minor in the labor management relations certificate program.
