At Providence: Joined the team as a graduate student for her first season of collegiate field hockey in 2012, following an impressive four-year career as a member of the Providence College softball team... During her softball career, Abrams recorded 175 hits, including 25 doubles, 12 home runs and two triples... Also collected 63 RBI and posted a .293 batting average and .402 slugging percentage... She was solid for the Friars defensively, having recorded just 21 errors in 192 career games for a .961 fielding percentage...A four-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star selection (2009-12)... In High School: Attended Reading Memorial High School where she competed in field hockey, ice hockey and softball... She led Reading Memorial's field hockey team in scoring as a junior and senior and finished in the top-five all-time in career scoring...A three-time First-Team League All-Star... Named Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic (2007-08)... Best of 60 in Massachusetts... Reading Times Chronicle Player of the Year (2007)... Led Reading Memorial to a 54-9 record and helped the team capture the 2007 league championship... While on the team, Reading Memorial advanced to the state tournament each season and also finished as semifinalists of the North Division 1 each year... Member of the National Honor Society and was a four-year winner of the Student Athlete Award.
