The Providence College women's basketball team opens its 2000 preseason schedule Saturday afternoon with an exhibition game against Bryant College.

The Friars kick off the season with the first of two exhibition games before opening their season against Central Michigan in the Minnesota Regal Classic Tournament.

Providence returns four seniors from last year's team which posted a 10-17 overall record and a 5-11 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
