The BIG EAST Conference released its 2014-15 women's basketball schedule on Thursday, Sept. 11. Each of the league's 10 members will play an 18-game schedule, facing each team twice, at home and on the road.

The Providence College women's basketball team tips off its BIG EAST slate on Wednesday, Dec. 3 versus Villanova at Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I. The Friars' schedule also features three nationally televised games, which include match-ups against Creighton (Jan. 16), Seton Hall (Feb. 6) and Villanova (Feb. 27).

The league recently launched BIG EAST Digital Network, a branded channel within FOX Sports GO, which will provide additional coverage of BIG EAST women's basketball. Along with BIG EAST Tournament First Round and Quarterfinal broadcasts, BEDN is slated to stream 30 regular-season women's basketball games, during both non-conference and league play. The schedule of BIG EAST Digital Network games will be announced at a future date.

Following the Friars' BIG EAST opener vs. Villanova on Dec. 3, Providence will face five-consecutive non-conference opponents before resuming its league schedule against St. John's on Tuesday, Dec. 30 in Providence, R.I.

Providence opens the month of January with three-straight road games vs. Butler (Jan. 2) in Indianapolis, Ind., Xavier (Jan. 4) in Cincinnati, Ohio and Georgetown (Jan. 9) in Washington, D.C.

PC returns to Alumni Hall to host Seton Hall (Jan. 11) and Creighton (Jan. 16). The Friars' match-up vs. Creighton will mark the program's first FOX Sports 1 game of the season.

Providence will travel to Milwaukee, Wis. to face Marquette on Jan. 23, and remains on the road to play DePaul in Chicago, Ill. on Jan. 25. The Friars follow up that trip with back-to-back home games vs. Butler (Jan. 30) and Xavier (Feb. 1).

The next three games will be played on the road, beginning Feb. 6 at Seton Hall on FOX Sports 1. Providence follows with games at St. John's (Feb. 8) in Queens, N.Y. and at Creighton (Feb. 15) in Omaha, Neb.

Three of the Friars' four remaining games on the conference schedule will be played at Alumni Hall. Providence starts the stretch with home games vs. Marquette (Feb. 20) and DePaul (Feb. 22). The program will play it's final regular-season road contest at Villanova on Feb. 27. The game will be played in Villanova, Pa. at The Pavilion and will be televised on FOX Sports 1.

Providence's regular-season finale will be staged at Alumni Hall against Georgetown on March 1. The BIG EAST Tournament is slated to be played March 7-10 at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Ill.
