Women's Basketball Claims 76-36 Victory Over Pescara In Final Exhibition Game

ROME, ITALY - The Providence College women’s basketball team earned a 76-36 victory over Pescara in its final exhibition game on Aug. 19 in Rome, Italy. Pescara is a club team from Italy’s Adriatic Coast.

Freshman Yoyo Nogic and junior Aliyah Miller led the Friars with 13 points and 10 points, respectively. Allegra Botteghi added seven points and a team-high seven rebounds. Eight players on the roster scored six or more points in a very balanced offensive attack.

Freshman Maddie Jolin dished a game-high six assists to go along with eight points and two blocked shots. Freshman Clara Che and sophomore Alise Parker also scored eight points apiece.

Providence will spend one more, full day in Rome before returning to the United States on Aug. 21.
