Providence's Jenese Wilcox Announces She Will Transfer

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today that sophomore forward/center Jenese Wilcox (Port Chester, N.Y.) will be leaving Providence College after two seasons with the women's basketball team. Wilcox has decided to transfer to another institution

Wilcox played in 40 games during her two seasons with the Friars and made 31 appearances in the starting line-up. At Providence, she averaged 10.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game. In 13 games in 2001-02, Wilcox averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

TRANSACTIONS: Providence College women's basketball player, Jenese Wilcox, leaves Providence College and looking to transfer to another institution.
