    PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's basketball program will host its annual Think Pink event on Tuesday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m., when the team hosts BIG EAST rival Marquette University at Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I. The Think Pink event aims to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Donations will be taken at the door, and Think Pink T-Shirts also will be sold for $8. All proceeds collected at the game will support the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Center.

    The Friars will be wearing pink uniforms during the game vs. Marquette, and all fans planning to attend the game are encouraged to wear pink in support of a great cause.

    The uniforms will be added to an online auction beginning Wednesday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Kay Yow Foundation. The opening bid for each pink uniform will begin at $85. However, each jersey also will have a "Buy It Now" option for $300. The auction will conclude on Wednesday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m.
