Providence College vs. Boston College Women's Basketball Game Preview Saturday, January 20th * Alumni Hall * 2:00 p.m.

SERIES RECORDS: This is the 34th meeting between the two New England schools. The Friars hold a 30-13 advantage in the all-time series, opening the series with seven-straight victories. BC has won six of the last seven meetings and the last four meetings as well. Providence Coach Jim Jabir is 1-6 against the Eagles in BIG EAST play.

NOTES: The Friars return to Alumni Hall after picking up their first BIG EAST Conference victory, 77-60, in Miami. PC (7-7/1-4 BE) faces a Boston College team (7-9/1-4 BE) which was ranked in the nation's top 25 earlier this season, but has fallen from the rankings and has dropped four-straight contests and has lost six of their last eight games.

TEAM NOTES: The Boston College Eagles come into Providence tied with the Friars in the BIG EAST standings with a 1-4 conference record. The Eagles are the losers of four-straight contests: 64-52 to Virginia Tech at home, 75-66 in overtime at Rutgers, 65-59 to Miami at home, and 70-65 at Georgetown. BC is just 2-5 at home and has recorded a 4-4 road record.
