Jan. 9, 2001 Providence College vs. #13 RUTGERS Women's Basketball Game Preview Wednesday, January 10th * Alumni Hall * 7:00 p.m. SERIES RECORDS: The Friars trail in the all-time series with Rutgers, 1-11. PC's lone win against the Knights came January 9th, 1997 in Providence when they topped Rutgers 72-57. RU has won five-straight games over the Friars. NOTES: The Friars return to PC's Alumni Hall for one of only two January home games. PC dropped its first two BIG EAST Conference, losing at home to Seton Hall (74-61) and at Pittsburgh (68-53). It is the first 0-2 BIG EAST start for a Jim Jabir-coached Providence team.
