PROVIDENCE, RI - The Providence College women's basketball team lost a BIG EAST game to Syracuse this evening, 82-64 in Alumni Hall.

The Friars shot only 27% from the field while the Orangewomen stayed in control the entire game shooting 40% from the floor while also holding the rebound advantage, 59-38.

Providence was led by sophomore Monika Roberts (Antioch, CA) and freshman Chrissy Vozab (Amenia, NY) who both tallied 12 points. Senior forward Kerri Sullivan (Walpole, MA) chipped in with a game high eight boards.

Syracuse was led by junior Paula Moore with 22 points. (8-12 fg).

PC falls to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in the BIG EAST while Syracuse improves to 5-7 and 1-4 in the conference.
