    Women's Hoops Drops 73-59 Decision At Harvard

    Brianna Edwards nets game-high 21 points.

    2012-13: Appeared in six games for the Friars as a walk-on during the first semester... Did not play during the second semester (effective January 7), while completing her student-teaching requirement... Scored her first collegiate basket against Harvard (12/4) on her only shot attempt and also chipped in one rebound... Played five minutes against Virginia on November 18 and grabbed her first collegiate rebound... Played two minutes against Vermont on November 14 in her debut with the Friars.

    AT PROVIDENCE: Played four seasons of NCAA Division I women's soccer at Providence College... Earned All-BIG EAST Second-Team honors as a senior in 2012... A two-time All-BIG EAST Second-Team selection (2010, 2011)... BIG EAST All-Rookie Team selection in 2009... Is the first Providence College women's soccer player to earn a place on the First, Second or Third Teams in multiple seasons... First Friar defender to ever earn All-BIG EAST recognition.

    BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Earned four varsity letters in soccer, three in basketball and one in track at Bishop Feehan High School... For soccer was named All-State (2008), Division I First Team Eastern Massachusetts Girls' Soccer Coaches Team (2007, 2008), Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star (2006-2008), Sun Chronicle All-Star First Team (2006-2008)... Finsihed her high school soccer career with 40 goals and 44 assists.

    PERSONAL: Daughter of Denise and Robert Roncarati... Born January 21, 1991... Has an older brother, Michael... Biology/secondary education major.
