Women's Basketball Drops Heartbreaker In Double-Overtime To Creighton, 87-84

Maddie Jolin tallied nine points, five assists and a career-high 18 rebounds; Jovana Nogic added 27 points.

2017-18:  Played 31 games and appeared in the starting line-up 16 times... Averaged 6.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game... Hit double figures in the scoring column nine times, including a season-high 15 points in three games vs. Northeastern (Nov. 14), Savannah State (Nov. 21) and Boston College (Dec. 21)... Tallied double figures against Columbia (10 points) to go along with six rebounds (Nov. 10)... Notched 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal against Sacred Heart (Dec. 9)... Recorded eight points and six rebounds against Georgetown (Dec. 28)... 2016-17:  Started all 30 games for Providence... Averaged 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game... Led the team in assists (92)... Tallied career highs in points (16) and assists (seven) against North Dakota State (11/16)... Collected a career-high five steals against Brown on Dec. 4 and added nine points, five assists and three rebounds... Recorded double figures in the scoring column eight times, including five games during BIG EAST Conference regular-season action... Hauled in a career-high seven rebounds against No. 21/19 DePaul (1/29)... Dished 4+ assists in 11 games, including seven games during league play... 2015-16: Played 29 games and appeared in the starting line-up three times.. Averaged 6.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game... Ranked second on the team in three-point field-goal percentage overall (.393, 33-84)... Led the team from three-point range during BIG EAST Conference regular-season play (.407, 24-59)... Recorded a season-high 15 points on 4-7 shooting, including a 3-5 performance from three-point territory vs. St. John’s on Dec. 31... On Jan. 5, netted nine points against Georgetown with 3-3 shooting from the three-point arc and dished a season-best five assists... Made her first appearance in the starting line-up vs. Xavier on Jan. 10 and tallied six points on 2-2 shooting from three-point territory... Notched nine points against No. 24/21 DePaul (1/24)...Reached double figures for the second time in her career with the Friars on Feb. 5 against Xavier with 10 points... Shot 3-7 from the field, including 2-3 from three-point territory, and netted 2-2 shots from the charity stripe... Also contributed two rebounds and two assists vs. the Musketeers... During her first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament on March 5 vs. Creighton, she led the Friars in scoring with 14 points on 6-8 shooting from the field, including a 2-3 performance from three-point territory.

BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Represented Spain at the 2015 U18 European Championship... It marked her first FIBA-sponsored international competition with Spain... Played seven games and averaged 8.6 minutes, 0.9 points and 0.7 rebounds per game off the bench... Recorded a tournament-high six points, three rebounds and one steal vs. Israel on Aug. 3... Spain posted an 8-1 record, including a 76-60 victory over France to win the European Championship on Aug. 9... Also competed for the first team in women’s league at Segle XXI and averaged 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
