Men's Cross Country Ranked 14th Nationally

PC returns to action on Oct. 15 at New England Championship.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's cross country squad is ranked 14th in the country, according to the Mondo NCAA Men's Cross Country Poll released on Monday, September 27.

In its most recent race, the Providence College men's cross country team scored 206 points and finished sixth of 28 schools at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn., on Saturday, September 25.

At the Roy Griak Invitational, Providence was led by senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) who finished fourth in a time of 24:29. Also scoring for the Friars were Dermot Galvin of Kilrush, Ireland (22nd - 25:07), Paul Reilly of Loughrea, Ireland (34th - 25:21), Tim Curran of Northboro, Mass. (58th - 25:43) and Adam Sutton of Preston, England (88th - 26:04).

The Friars return to action on Oct. 15 at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
