Men's Cross Country Finishes Seventh at Invitational
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Providence College men's cross country team scored 203 points and finished seventh of 15 schools at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn., on Saturday, September 27.
PC junior Ben Noad of Bristol, England captured the individual title by finishing first in a time of 24:23. Also scoring for PC were junior Zack Ventress of Spokane, Wash. (36th - 25:33), junior Rick Bush of Clifton Park, N.Y. (49th - 25:46), freshman Ciaran Lynch of Limerick, Ireland (56th - 25:52) and sophomore Larry Morrissey of Waterford, Ireland (61st - 25:59).
The Friars return to action on Oct. 17 at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
