Men's Cross Country Finishes 6th of 28 at Roy Griak Inv.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The Providence College men's cross country team scored 206 points and finished sixth of 28 schools at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn., on Saturday, September 25.

Providence was led by senior Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) who finished fourth in a time of 24:29. Also scoring for the Friars were Dermot Galvin of Kilrush, Ireland (22nd - 25:07), Paul Reilly of Loughrea, Ireland (34th - 25:21), Tim Curran of Northboro, Mass. (58th - 25:43) and Adam Sutton of Preston, England (88th - 26:04).

The Friars return to action on Oct. 15 at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
