Men's Cross Country B Squad Finishes 3rd at Fordham Inv.
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The Providence College men's cross country "B" squad finished third of nine teams at the Fordham Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y. on Saturday, Sept. 18. Providence College was led by senior All-American Keith Kelly (Drogheda, Ireland) who won the race in a time of 25:00. Kelly, who is PC's top runner, was competing with "B" squad while recovering from an injury. Senior Kevin Donnelly of Somerset, Mass. (14th - 27:09), sophomore Tim Morris of Walpole, Mass. (21st - 27:17), junior Pat Doyle of Seekonk, Mass. (22nd - 27:23) and senior Pat Conway of Manchester, N.H. (25th - 27:13) also scored for the Friars. The Friars return to action Sept. 25 at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minn. at NEW YORK, N.Y.
