Providence College Alumni Martin Fagan `07 claimed victory at the 9th annual Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) Half Marathon on Sunday, October 11. The race was comprised of 4025 runners and presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
Martin Fagan, a native of Ireland, claimed first-place in the race with a time of 1:02:21. Fagan was a four-time All-American while at Providence College. He claimed back-to-back BIG EAST titles in cross country, as well as four titles in track at 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters. In 2008, Fagan competed for Ireland at the Beijing Olympics. He curently resides and trains in Flagstaff, Ariz.
