PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College men's track team competed at the 2014 Adrian Martinez Classic at Emerson Playground, Mass. on Thursday, June 6.
Sophomore Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) became the eighth sub-four minute miler under Head Coach Ray Treacy after finishing third in a personal best time of 3:58.89. Oakley finished one place ahead of 2012 Olympic 1,500 meter silver medalist Leo Manzano.
Sophomore Harvey Dixon (Aldershot, England) also competed at the meet. Dixon finished 10th in the mile in a time of 4:05.57.
